It may be the middle of winter, but here in my neck of the woods, we’re getting a little taste of spring. What better time to get out and ride. I pulled the Niner off the wall, saddled up and ground out 18 miles, nice and easy. It wasn’t about going fast, going hard, or racing a clock. It was about getting some fresh air and enjoying the ride. Really, that’s what it should always be about.
Riding this single-speed Niner has added to my riding enjoyment. It’s light. It’s simple (no gears). You just pedal…and hop a few curbs, potholes, and half melted snow drifts…sweet. I can’t wait to do it again. It’s addictive, riding a bike. It’s like being a kid again.
Keep riding!
